Double Down

WOW!!!  Our “I am…” conversation last week spurred a lot of action and thought for both you and me!

I had many people respond to that inspiration with their experience.  It was so powerful, I want to share a couple with you…

I don’t use “I am” very often, but realized I use “I’m” instead.  Once I had this realization, I noticed I use “I’m….” all the time, and all the “I am…” you talked about applies here also. I really had to think about what my intention was when I said “I’m…”  -- Christy

I caught myself saying, “I’m exhausted” in a whiny inside-my head voice, and replaced it with , “I’m ready for a break!”  The energy of those two felt significantly different. The second version gave me hope that I will get the rest of my work done today! -- Angie

Personally, my biggest shift came last Thursday afternoon. I had apparently decided “I’m grouchy.”

Then using inspiration from Angie, I deliberately chose to create a new statement, “I am working on improving my attitude.”  Just like Angie experienced, I felt relief.  I could let go of being grouchy without the pressure of having to be peppy and positive, and still knowing my attitude was on the path to “recovery.”

The words we choose to THINK are more powerful than we know.

The more deliberate and conscious we are in choosing our thoughts, the more control we have over crafting the day and life we want.

This week, double down on your awareness of the “I am…” and “I’m…” statements you THINK and you say.

Remember, you are instructing your subconscious brain to create more of THAT.  Make sure it’s what you want!!

Thoughts become things.  Choose the good ones.  You deserve it.

Tum, ta, tum, tum, TUMS!

I Am.
